Donald E. Osterbrock Book Prize for Historical Astronomy

Awarded biennially to the author(s) of a book judged to advance the field of the history of astronomy or to bring history of astronomy to light.

HAD Student Travel Award

To encourage current graduate and undergraduate students to present papers at its meetings, the Historical Astronomy Division will present one or more awards to support travel to its main meeting in January each year.
