For the sixth consecutive year, HAD will hold a minibanquet on the Monday evening of the joint AAS/HAD meeting in January. We originally called it a minibanquet to distinguish it from the AAS Banquet, which was much larger, more expensive, and more formal. Now the AAS Banquet is no more, but the HAD minibanquet lives on.

When?
Monday, 7 January 2013. Drinks and conversation at 6:30. Sit down to dine family style at 7:00.

What?
The following will be served family style (starred dishes are vegetarian):

Humus & Tzantziki (yogurt, cucumber, etc.) dip*
Saganaki (pan-seared Greek cheese)*
Greek Salad*
Greek Style Rice*
Vege-dolmathes (grape leaves stuffed with rice, tomato, and spices)*
Kleftico (slow roasted lamb special)
Chicken Souvlakia
Pastitso (A lasagna-like dish of pasta, spiced ground beef, and a creamy Béchamel sauce.)
Baklava (dessert)
Coffee, tea, soft drinks

How much?
$33 per person, including tax and tip, but excluding alcoholic beverages.
Please bring cash or a check made out to Joe Tenn. Be prepared to pay for your alcoholic drinks directly to the restaurant.
